About Me
I am a composer, expressive vocalist, and songwriter based in London. My mission is to spread healing and empowerment through storytelling, art and music.
I have a strong background in music education, with over 30 years of experience working in various community settings, including high-profile prisons, domestic violence programs, educational institutions, and political prisoners. I have also worked in Montessori nurseries and at all levels of education, from primary schools to universities.
I am dedicated to creating soulful melodies with layers of harmony and rhythm that resonate with audiences worldwide.
My compositions are influenced by a blend of musical styles, including soul, jazz, reggae, African rhythms, and classical music. I strive to captivate listeners and evoke powerful emotions through my song stories, which are based on my experiences and the stories shared with me by others.
I believe that my commitment to storytelling has the power to engage
the listener, taking them to the heart of anothers life experience and
emotion.
In addition to my work as a composer and songwriter, I have written orchestral arrangements for the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
